COVID Friendly Winter Activities
Holidays in 2020
If you’re like me, you may have spent more 1 on 1 quality time with yourself this year than you might have otherwise. COVID has impacted people in numerous ways, both personally and professionally. I am lucky enough to not have been hit from a professional/financial stance, but I can speak to the changes I’ve felt from living alone.
Now this is not a cry for help! I promise! In all honesty, I think I have learned quite a bit more about myself this year than I probably would have, and am thankful for that. I’ve also been able to acknowledge where I get energy, what fills my cup, and how I need to mold my life to ensure I am finding value out of each and every day.
What I do know is that everyone is different. So while I’m doing my best to stay busy and booking things in advance (like a cabin) that will bring me joy, others might not be feeling the same way. The holidays will be tough for many, whether you are planning to be alone like myself, or if your group size has been reduced.
No matter the details, creating your own sense of connection this holiday season is important. To help you “fill your cup” so to speak, I’ve come up with some creative activities that you can leverage over the days, weeks, and months to come. There is sure to be something in this list for every personality type, so take a peak and get to planning! You are in charge of your own happiness and time!
