Earth Friendly Makeup Remover
I have never been an avid face washer.
Thankfully I don’t get acne easily, and anytime I need to shower, well…that is the time my “face gets washed”. Let’s be real though, quite often my showers just consist of me standing under the water and not moving. Anyone else?
Maybe that’s why I’ve been lucky enough to not have oily skin. All natural might be my saving grace. Or maybe it’s just genetics and I’m lucky + lazy.
Whatever it may be, as I’ve gotten older I have started to wipe off my makeup from time to time. Big steps I know! To make it as easy as possible, I’ve been buying Neutrogena Makeup Remover Face Wipes. They feel fantastic, leave my skin feeling hydrated, and get the job done.
What I never really thought of though was the waste I was producing due to my laziness. Did you know that there are 20 million wipes being thrown away every day? Or that 7.6 billion pounds of makeup wipes end up in the landfill every year? Pretty eye opening if you ask me.
After I started questioning my makeup wipe usage and found these staggering stats, I decided to of course turn to friends for recommendations. Many of course threw out the idea of going the wash cloth route, but I didn’t want to have to buy plastic bottles of makeup remover to then use with my wash cloth. One of my sisters uses vaseline, which I thought could work but might get a bit messy. And then my girl Chelsea told me about the Makeup Eraser!! This beauty…
Removes makeup with just water
Is machine washable
And is nontoxic
